A fantastic bamboo for planter boxes, troughs and pots. The long thin elongated leaves gives the bamboo a really great look. Does best in slightly shaded areas. This is a running (spreading) bamboo, so best for planting in containers or planter boxes.

Climate: Prefers subtropical and temperate climates

Growth habit: Invasive, erect
Growing conditions: Moist, well drained soil. Keep well mulched.
Origin: China
Resitant to the mites which can be particularly damaging to many of the phyllostachys bamboo species.
