The Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' is a cultivar created through selective breeding believed to be a hybrid between Philodendron tortum and Philodendron wendlandii. New leaves emerge a soft pink, caramel - orange colour and fade to green as they mature but they retain their splashes. It grows faster and produces more leaves in bright indirect light. Like most philodendrons it can survive in low light conditions, however this plants' colours will appear more vibrant the more light it gets.
