This bamboo flowered in 1995 so there are a few variants of this species.
The one that we are selling is the most 'unusual' in that the culms grow in peculiar 'S' bends, forming a great lush canopy. The culms are green with yellow striation and the leaves are quite large. The culms sheaths tend to cling on to the culms for long periods of time.
The straight form of this plant grows much taller (and obviously straight). It is also avialable on request.
