Chimonobambusa marmorea (Marbled Bamboo)
A stunning upright running bamboo with very small leaves. Great for large pots and planter boxes. Grows best in Temperate climates - so best suited to southern parts of Australia. Named 'Marbled Bamboo' because the culm sheaths have a marbled pattern.

Climate: Prefers a temperate climate
Light conditions: Full sun to part shade
Growth habit: Invasive, erect
Growing conditions: Moist, well drained soil. Keep well mulched.
Origin: Japan
Petite size of the foliage gives it a feathery appearance. New shoots are a mint green in colour. One of the most colourful of the small running bamboos.
