Chambeyronia macrocarpa w red fronds
By: ian on 26 August 2022This is a very nice unobtrusive palm. The fronds are deep red for c. 4 to 7 days after unfolding. Thereafter the fronds droop and all form a nice circular pattern c. 3-4 mts dia. Our tree is slow growing in not good soil (too much clay) w 3 maybe 4 new fronds per year and is c. 6 mts high after 10-15 years in Sydney. It won't pique the neighbors.
