Caladium bicolor 'Black Stem Red Heart'
A perennial tuber grown for its colourful foliage. The heart shaped leaves usually have a deep red heart with green extremities. The interested feature of this plant is the black stem. Will die down during the winter months.
Typical height: 40 to 60cm
Climate: Prefers tropical or subtropical climates, or warm protected positions in temperate climate.
Light conditions: Part shade / shade
Growth habit: Clumping
Growing conditions: Moist well drained soil, dryer in winter
