Begonia masoniana (Iron Cross)
A popular begonia grown mostly for its striking foliage and apple green leaves, most notable for its cross shaped, dark brown centres and rough texture. Great pot plant or understory filler.

Begonia Iron Cross likes bright indirect light which helps the leaves and flowers develop a more intense color.
Responds well to liquid and slow release fertilisers with extra potassium to help boost colour. Prefers moist but not overly wet potting media. Water when the first inch or two of potting mix feels dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering especially during the cooler months.
