Also known as Seabreeze Bamboo. Native to southern China it is the growers choice for coastal areas with its small leaves and thin, dark green culms. It has a high tolerance for wind and salt. Fast growing and reported to be flood and drought tolerant. May be used as a centrepiece, privacy screen, erosion control or windbreak. Makes a good contrast in mixed plantings with other unique tropical plants.
