Alpinia caerulea 'Atherton Ginger'
A native Australian ginger from the Atherton Tablelands. Similar to Alpinia Caerulea but with burgundy undersides of leaves. A very hardy ginger.

Climate: Quite cold tolerant. Grows well in most parts of Australia.

Growing conditions: Well drained soil, rich in organic matter
