Ben Winspear and The Hervey Bay Art Society visit Bamboo Land! They explored the space and found rare plant subjects to try their new painting techniques on which they just learnt from Ben.
We loved having Ben Winspear and The Hervey Bay Art Society visit! Seeing the artists enjoy our gardens and create truly incredible paintings was such a treat! With renown artist, Ben Winspear from the Yarra Valley, Vic and Donna Stackman, president of the Hervey Bay Art Society and Gallery 5 leading the experience, they both spoke to the importance of immersion when enjoying plein air painting and how Bamboo Land provided a vast variety of colours, layers and contrast to experiment with during their time at the parklands.
