Bambusa nana - Thai Beauty (Large Leaf)
A seriously beautiful bamboo. Very tight clumping, clean smooth culms, lush slightly weeping tops. This particular Nana clone is the one often referred to as the Quail Gardens Clone (San Diego Botanic Gardens).

Typical height: 8 to 10m
Typical culm diameter: 5cm
Minimum temperature tolerance: -2°C
Climate: Prefers tropical or subtropical climates.
Light conditions: Full sun to part shade
Growth habit: Upright, very tight clumping, slightly weeping tops
Growing conditions: Moist, well drained soil. Keep well mulched.
Origin: Thailand
A jaw dropping ornamental bamboo suitable for bamboo collectors and an absolute must have for all serious gardeners and plant enthusiasts. Would make a wonderful centrepiece in any garden.
